There IS however a way for you to offset the cost of the ticket by participating in a state approved defensive driving course and saving money on your insurance premiums. You may also be able to receive a 4-point safe driver credit on your driving record for successfully completing a defensive driving course.

Indiana approves third party organizations to offer ticket dismissal and defensive driving classes to residents of the state. Fortunately these programs cost very little and are easily accessible online.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Not all programs are equal! Some contain inaccurate information, are poorly designed and tedious to complete — but others provide a significantly better user experience and added features such as audio and video.

Most if not all States provide both a general speed restriction and specific speed limits. You must obey both.
General Speed Restrictions: You must not drive at a speed either too fast or too slow than is reasonable under existing conditions. This means that factors such as traffic congestion (density) and/or weather conditions (rain/snow/sleet/fog) can reduce the specific speed limit of a posted black and white speed limit sign.
Specific Speed Restrictions: Signage is generally used to identify specific speed restrictions. Black and white speed limit signs are the law and a ticket can be issued if one exceeds this limit. Yellow and black speed limit signs are recommended maximum speed limit signs but in some situations can be exceeded due to the absence of the condition that justified the recommended speed such as school zone hours.
